In June this year one of the Charity's Tustees Alex Stewart together with Sofie Petersen and assisted by porters undertook a gruelling eight day climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Alex said that it was only the thought of all the sponsorship donations that enabled him to make the final push to the mountain top. Many people attempting the climb are unable cope with the low oxygen levels as they near the top.
